Veterans Value First Cremation Plans
The Heritage Cremation Society is pleased to offer Veterans and their spouses the option of selecting the Veterans Value First Cremation Plan that best meets their needs. These plans are designed to offer quality service and great value. They are available to any honorably discharged Veteran and their spouse in conjunction with interment in an approved Veteran’s cemetery. A $30.00 membership fee will be added to any plan selected. The following prices are those offered to members of the Heritage Cremation Society.

| Veterans Basic Cremation Plan |
This is the most affordable cremation package offered to Veterans and it includes the following:
- Services of our staff and equipment
- Transportation of the deceased from the place of death to the crematory
- Use of our refrigeration facilities
- Cremation of the deceased and all associated fees
- Free cemetery lot or wall niche with interment in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio or Dayton VA National Cemetery
- Open and closing of cemetery space provided by the cemetery at no charge
- Minimum alternative cremation container and temporary container for cremains
- Preparation and recording of required documents and authorizations including VA Forms

| Veterans Celebration of Life Plan |
This is the next most complete cremation package offered and it includes the following:
- Services of our staff and equipment
- Transportation of the deceased from the place of death to the crematory
- Cremation of the deceased and all associated fees
- Staff and equipment for coordination of memorial service at a church or other facility
- Memorial package (register book / #50 memorial folders / #25 thank you cards)
- Full military service with honors at the cemetery
- Free cemetery lot or wall niche with interment in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio or Dayton VA National Cemetery
- Open and closing of cemetery space provided by the cemetery at no charge
- Minimum alternative cremation container and temporary container for cremains
- Preparation and recording of required documents and authorizations including VA Forms

| Veterans Cremation with Funeral Service Plan |
This is the most complete cremation package offered and it includes the following:
- Services of our staff and equipment
- Transportation of the deceased from the place of death to the funeral home
- Preparation and embalming of the deceased
- Dressing, hairstyling, application of cosmetics and casketing
- Use of a cremation casket for viewing and service
- Cremation of the deceased and all associated fees
- Staff and equipment for coordination of service at a church or other facility with one (1) hour of visitation prior to the service
- Memorial package (register book / #50 memorial folders / #25 thank you cards)
- Full military service with honors at the cemetery
- Free cemetery lot or wall niche with interment in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio or Dayton VA National Cemetery
- Open and closing of cemetery space provided by the cemetery at no charge
- Minimum alternative cremation container and temporary container for cremains
- Preparation and recording of required documents and authorizations including VA Forms
